Dragonwings, by Laurence Yep, has 248 pages. It is about a young boy named Moon Shadow who travels to the Land of the Golden Mountains (California) to go live with his father in his laundry company. Moon Shadow lives with his father, Wind Rider, in the company for a couple years until Wind Rider kills a demon (American man). Now Moon Shadow has to leave with his dad and rent a place with a demoness (American woman) named Miss Whitlaw and her niece Robin. When Moon Shadow and his dad hear about the Wright brothers and how the flew a plane, they decide they are going to try it too. Will they're dreams soar high or will they come crashing down?
