The book Skeleton Key*, Alex's third adventure, is by Anthiny Horowitz and has 327 pages. Alex Rider and two CIA agents go to Cayo Esqueleto (Skeleton Key) to find a man with a nuclear bomb. Soon the American agents are killed from a trap and Alex is on his own. When Alex gets caught by Sarov who has the bomb, he wants him to be the son he lost. Sarov tells him what he is using the bomb for. An important setting to the book is Casa De Oro.
An important setting to the book is Casa De Oro. If this setting wasn't in the book, many things would be different. One thing is that the two CIA agents wouldn't have died. The CIA agents were looking for the "devils chimney" so they could sneak up on the island but there was a trap. Also, the agents would have never known where Sarov was located and where he had the bomb. Finally, Alex wouldn't have almost been killed by the crusher. That is why Casa De Oro is an important setting to the story. This would be a good book for any reader to read. But make sure to read the other books before it first.
